F&D holds a Certificate of Recognition for our Partnership in Health & Safety, and are proud to have been featured in "Health & Safety" Magazine for taking an active role to assure a work-safe environment.

Mandatory Safety Rules:

All new employees are required to take a First Aid Course
WHIMIS training and testing is mandatory for all employees.

Ear protection and steel toes are required in the shop at all times.

as required by OH&S
timely and accurate response to injuries
on the job.

Our Safety Coordinator, Victor Perras enforces that mandatory safety regulations are adhered to at all times, and hosts a weekly safety tailgate meeting to address safety concerns and reinforce safety protocol.

Workplace safety is an important part of the culture at F&D.Through the implementation of policies and safety requirements, consideration for safe equipment and supplies, and an overall application of sensible safe behaviour among the staff, the on-site safety officer together with the F&D team foster a working culture that consistently recognizes the importance of health and safety awareness on and off the job.
