The Automation Department is responsible for:
- electrically controlled scenic operations
- pneumatics
- hydraulics
- lighting control
- radio frequency
- computer-controlled effects
- designing program wiring
- special effects such as smoke, steam, carbon-dioxide, and effects which compliment lighting.
Automations are controlled using computer control, relay logic, or stagehand logic, and can be created directly from concept with a minimum amount of direction.
